El Nido Island

Nestled in Palawan, El Nido is a breathtaking paradise renowned for its towering limestone karsts, pristine white-sand beaches, crystal-clear lagoons, and vibrant coral reefs. It's the ultimate destination for island hopping adventures and exploring nature's masterpieces.

El Nido Island

El Nido, located at the northern tip of Palawan Island, is consistently ranked as one of the most stunning destinations not only in the Philippines but worldwide. Its fame is largely owed to the spectacular Bacuit Archipelago—a group of islands and islets marked by dramatic limestone cliffs that rise majestically from turquoise waters, concealing hidden lagoons, pristine beaches, and mystical caves. The highlight for most visitors is the unforgettable island hopping experience that reveals this otherworldly landscape.

Must-Do: El Nido Island Hopping Tours

Island hopping is the core experience in El Nido. The tours are well-organized into four standard packages (Tours A, B, C, and D), each showcasing a unique set of wonders:

  • Tour A: Focuses on iconic lagoons and scenic beaches. Usually includes Big Lagoon, Small Lagoon (a kayaking must!), Secret Lagoon, Shimizu Island, and Seven Commandos Beach. It’s often the most popular tour.
  • Tour B: Explores caves, coves, and sandbars. Destinations typically include Snake Island (Vigan Island), Pinagbuyutan Island, Entalula Beach, Cudugnon Cave, and Cathedral Cave.
  • Tour C: Highlights hidden beaches and shrines. Typically includes Helicopter Island, Matinloc Shrine, Secret Beach, Star Beach, and Hidden Beach.
  • Tour D: Showcases more secluded beaches and lagoons around Cadlao Island, such as Cadlao Lagoon, Pasandigan Beach, Paradise Beach, Nat Nat Beach, and Bukal Beach.

Most tours include a grilled seafood lunch prepared by the crew and served right on the beach. If your schedule allows, it’s well worth joining at least two different tours.
