Philippines Travel Requirements
Visa Information
Most nationalities can enter the Philippines visa-free for up to 30 days, provided they have a valid return or onward ticket and a passport valid for at least 6 months. For stays longer than 30 days, a visa extension can be applied for at a Bureau of Immigration office.
Health Insurance
Health insurance is not mandatory for entry, but it is highly recommended. Travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, COVID-19 treatment, and repatriation is advised for all travelers.
Entry Documents
Travelers must present a valid passport (with at least 6 months of validity), a return or onward ticket, and in some cases, proof of accommodation. Fully vaccinated travelers no longer need to present negative COVID-19 test results or quarantine upon arrival.
Traveles also must complete the eTravel form prior to departure and present the generated QR code. This may be requested at the airline check-in counter, during immigration control, and upon arrival at customs in the airport.
Customs Regulations
Visitors may bring in duty-free items such as up to 2 liters of alcohol, 400 cigarettes or 50 cigars or 250g of tobacco. It is illegal to bring narcotics, firearms, and pornographic materials. Declaring large sums of foreign currency exceeding $10,000 USD is required.
Important Disclaimer
